Towle Farm Community
Mission Statement
In 1957 William Ames bequeathed three parcels of land to certain land owners situated on the western shore of Province Lake. The land consisted of the roadways Towle Farm Rd, Bragdon Farm Rd, Hill Rd, Swamp Rd, Ames Rd and the loop which was later renamed Bedrock Road. Two “rights of way” and an area for a meeting place were also included. Waterfront access of approximately 150 feet was granted, so that the residents of this community would be able to enjoy the beauty of Province Lake for swimming, fishing and boating. This community was then incorporated by the State of New Hampshire as the Towle Farm Community Corporation.
Our purpose and mission is simple. We exist for the duel purpose of maintenance and upkeep of the roadways and the safety and well-being of all of our community members. We have also charged ourselves with the stewardship of Province Lake. We continually monitor our private boat ramp and have taken major efforts to mitigate the runoff into our beautiful lake. We will continue to pursue ways to positively impact our community and our surrounding areas and of course, Province Lake.
